内容简介：With the commonly accepted Sea Level Rise predicted by IPCC and UKCP and the increase of the storm frequency and severity, the low-lying cities and towns along the Welsh coasts are under increasing threats from the risk of coastal erosion and flooding. This seminar is to present the results of flood dynamics predicted from the state-of-the-art computer model for the Welsh coasts, particularly with the detailed flood maps and analysis in the flood-prone area centred at Rhyl in north Wales.
