Sino-German Youth Symposium on Harbour and Waterway Engineering was held on March 10th to 20th, 2013 by Hohai University. Professor Torsten Schlurmann, Dr. Nils Rene Goseberg and 16 Master students from Franzius-Institut for Hydraulic, Waterways and Coastal Engineering, University of Hannover attended the symposium and the after-symposium technical trip. They discussed coastal dynamics, harbour and waterway engineering, coastal protection with teachers and students from Hohai University, and visited the State Key Laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering.
